This kitchen was due for a change. Originally covered in laminated film over particle board, the space lacked both durability and character. The homeowners wanted something that felt more natural—something that blended beautifully with the rest of their home’s warm, organic tones. That’s when we decided to take the renovation down to the studs and start fresh.

We began by fully dismantling the existing kitchen, removing old cabinets, countertops, and all of the previous laminated finishes. With a clean slate to work from, we laid the foundation for a natural wood-inspired design, using real wood surfaces that bring warmth, depth, and timeless appeal to the space.

The new kitchen now features wood-paneled cabinetry and surfaces that echo the design language of the home’s baseboards, dining table, and surrounding furniture. This intentional cohesion creates a harmonious flow from room to room, making the kitchen feel like an extension of the home rather than a separate space.
